Fear of losing the dearest one

When Life Took a Crucial Turn

When life had reached its hardest phase,

The mother of all testing days,

As if my soul was set to flee-

You made the choice seem light for me.

To chase my dreams or stay a friend,

You helped me weigh what fate might send.

When I climbed life’s daunting hill,

With weary heart, yet iron will,

And when I thought I’d had enough,

Your gentle smile made paths less rough.

Through trials steep and battles grim,

You fueled my will to strive and win.

When I stepped on failure’s floor,

Each loss more cutting than before,

As if success would never near,

Your life gave hope to crush my fear.

Armed with dreams and fearless mind,

I fought the thorns you left behind.

But now that fate gives me one stage—

A moment to unleash my rage,

To show the world my silent fire,

Your death made me a helpless friend,

Though love from you poured like the rain,

I failed to give it back again.

When I beheld the Taj in flame,

That cruelest day, none could name,

As if I tried to let you go,

The haunting faces told me “No.”

So many gone, so much destroyed—

Yet we stood helpless in the void.

The nation drowned in solemn grief,

Each face a mirror of belief.

As I broke down in silent cries,

Your memories swelled within my eyes.

I pray Fear of losing the dearest one

May not come to anyone.
