Coorg , a Heaven

Is this what heaven looks like?
Or is this path a route divine?
If heaven is where Mother Nature dwells,
Then surely, this land must be a sign.
As water tumbles from heights above,
Trying to kiss the waiting earth,
From hidden springs it softly flows,
Quenching many — a giver of worth.
Isn’t that heaven?
The hills and forests call your name,
Inviting you to trek their trail.
Each climb, a triumph of the soul,
Each step, a wind in your sail.
Isn’t that more than heaven?
Graceful girls in vibrant saris,
Traditions deep, untouched by time.
Soldiers brave with hearts of gold,
Folk dances that feel like rhyme.
Above all — isn’t this heaven?
Flavors rich in every dish,
Rivers whispering by your side.
The Kaveri Marathon's spirited run,
And homestays where warm hearts reside.
Bonfire nights, dreams alight —
Isn’t this the heaven you’ve wished tonight?
Birds in hues that stir the skies,
Invite your soul to take their flight.
Wildlife that gazes back with pride,
Nature’s roar, a gentle fright.
This wonder... this is heaven.
And as you step into this world,
Something shifts — it feels surreal.
A land that steals your every breath,
And teaches your heart to feel.
You fall in love, again, again —
For Coorg is heaven, dressed as Earth.
